Job Description
The Global Deal Desk Manager is responsible for overseeing complex customer deals, providing strategic guidance on deal structuring, pricing, and compliance, and collaborating with various teams to optimize sales processes and support company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and advise on complex, strategic customer deals, ensuring deal structures align with company objectives and compliance requirements
- Develop and standardize deal structures, pricing, and packaging in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Finance teams
- Analyze deal trends and provide recommendations to optimize pricing, packaging, and business rules
- Lead and facilitate large, complex deal review committees within tight timeframes
- Support the launch of new pricing strategies and facilitate customer migrations
- Automate content development and streamline deliverables for proposals and financial forecasting
Requirements
- 6 years of direct Deal Desk experience, with more desired
- Expert in revenue recognition ASC 606 and common SaaS metrics
- High proficiency in Salesforce and CPQ
- Track record of deal structuring and pricing analysis
- Experience with contract management
- Expert stakeholder management and communication skills
- Expert collaborator and negotiator
- Experience challenging and influencing an Executive audience
