Job Description
The Vice President of Project Management will lead and develop the company's project management team, overseeing the construction and completion of renewable energy projects, ensuring efficient delivery, stakeholder communication, and process improvements to support Pivot Energy's growth and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of construction and completion of clean energy project portfolios
- Develop, manage, and expand the project management team
- Enhance project management processes and reporting systems
- Ensure subcontractor performance and compliance
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project completion
- Create and drive strategies for efficient project delivery at scale
- Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee the delivery and transfer of projects to operations and asset management
Requirements
- Experience in leading, developing, and expanding a project management team within the renewable energy or related industry.
- Proven ability to oversee all aspects of construction and completion of clean energy project portfolios.
- Experience in development and management of staff involved in project management.
- Ability to enhance project management processes and reporting systems.
- Experience ensuring subcontractor performance and compliance with project requirements.
- Track record of delivering and transferring projects to operations and asset management teams.
- Strong leadership skills to create and drive strategy for efficient project delivery at a significant scale.
- Ability to nurture and enhance a talented team to deliver high-quality projects.
- Excellent communication skills for clear and rapid communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience implementing robust software and systems to manage large-scale project workflows.
- Experience interfacing with teams such as Origination, Project Development, Engineering, Preconstruction, and Finance to ensure successful project completion.
