Job Description
The VP of Project Management will lead and expand the company's project management team, overseeing the construction and completion of renewable energy projects, ensuring process efficiency, stakeholder communication, and high-quality delivery across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of construction and completion of clean energy project portfolios
- Develop and manage project management staff
- Enhance project management processes and reporting systems
- Ensure subcontractor performance and compliance
- Coordinate project delivery and transfer to operations and asset management
- Create and drive strategies for efficient project delivery at scale
- Collaborate with internal teams (Origination, Development, Engineering, Preconstruction, Finance) to ensure project success
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience in leading, developing, and expanding a project management team within the renewable energy or construction industry.
- Proven ability to oversee all aspects of construction and completion of clean energy project portfolios.
- Experience in development and management of staff involved in project management.
- Ability to enhance project management processes and reporting systems.
- Experience ensuring subcontractor performance and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Track record of delivering projects and transferring them to operations and asset management teams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to create and drive strategy for efficient project delivery at a significant scale.
- Ability to nurture and enhance a talented team to deliver high-quality projects.
- Experience interfacing and collaborating with teams such as Origination, Project Development, Engineering, Preconstruction, and Finance to ensure successful project completion.
- Excellent communication skills for clear and rapid communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience implementing robust software and systems to manage large-scale project workflows.
