Job Description
The VP of Project Management will lead and expand the company's project management team, overseeing the construction and completion of renewable energy projects, ensuring process efficiency, stakeholder communication, and successful project delivery from development to operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of construction and completion of renewable energy projects
- Develop, lead, and expand the project management team
- Enhance project management processes and reporting systems
- Ensure subcontractor performance and compliance
- Manage delivery and transfer of projects to operations and asset management
- Create and drive strategies for efficient project delivery at scale
- Collaborate with internal teams (Origination, Development, Engineering, Preconstruction, Finance) to ensure project success
- Manage staff development and project management workflows
Requirements
- Experience in leading, developing, and expanding a project management team within the renewable energy or related industry.
- Proven ability to oversee all aspects of construction and completion of clean energy project portfolios.
- Experience in development and management of staff involved in project management.
- Ability to enhance project management processes and reporting systems.
- Experience in ensuring subcontractor performance and compliance with contractual and safety standards.
- Track record of delivering and transferring projects to operations and asset management teams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to create and drive strategy for efficient project delivery at a significant scale.
- Ability to nurture and enhance a talented team to deliver high-quality projects.
- Excellent communication skills for clear and rapid communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience implementing robust software and systems to manage large-scale project workflows.
