Job Description
The Category Manager for Solar and BESS Equipment is responsible for leading sourcing activities, supplier management, and developing strategies to improve cost, quality, delivery, and reliability of solar PV and energy storage equipment within a renewable energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Solar PV and Energy Storage sourcing activities and manage supplier relationships.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve cost, quality, delivery, and reliability of equipment.
- Develop and shape category management strategies, including processes and procedures for key equipment categories.
Requirements
- Experience leading Solar PV and Energy Storage sourcing activities and supplier management to improve cost, quality, delivery, and reliability.
- Ability to develop and implement category management strategies, including developing processes and procedures that ensure best practices for key equipment categories.
- Reporting to the Sr. Director, Procurement, indicating a need for experience working within procurement or supply chain leadership roles.
