The Offshore Lead is responsible for overseeing and leading hazardous offshore operations related to deploying and maintaining ocean energy nodes, ensuring safety, coordination, and collaboration with engineering teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership for offshore operations including load outs, wet towage, deployments, recoveries, moorings, and test campaigns
Manage a team of technicians performing offshore operations
Coordinate efforts of vendors such as vessel operators, ports, equipment operators, and divers
Collaborate with engineering to commission, test, and improve offshore equipment and operations
Oversee maintenance of owned equipment
Interface with regulatory agencies such as USCG and ABS
Requirements
Five years of experience leading hazardous offshore operations.
Ten years of experience performing hazardous offshore operations.
Ability to travel up to 50% offshore.
Ability to travel 300 miles offshore, outside of helicopter Search and Rescue range.
Demonstrated record of developing and promoting a culture of safety within organizations.
