Job Description
The Inside Sales - HVAC role involves managing direct-to-consumer leads and inquiries related to energy products, providing customer support, promoting products and services, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a high-quality customer experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day direct-to-consumer lead management and sales for energy products.
- Respond to inbound ecommerce customer inquiries via chat and calls promptly.
- Support and guide customers through the sales process, including project inquiries and product questions.
- Maintain and review sales pipeline, ensuring projects progress to completion.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer service processes and workflows.
- Upsell products and services, and promote referral programs to customers.
- Work with technology and analytics teams to optimize ecommerce customer journeys and resolve friction points.
- Implement and support customer self-service workflows to enhance experience and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) preferred.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment.
- Sales and Customer service mindset.
- Problem solver.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills, including G Suite.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the construction or Energy industry preferred.
- HVAC sales experience.
- Product knowledge preferred.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
