Job Description

The Relationship Manager at Palmetto is responsible for supporting and managing partnerships with certified installers, ensuring smooth financial product transactions, building strong relationships, and providing training and support to drive partner success in the renewable energy and HVAC industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage support and processing of Palmetto's financial products for stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain communication and relationships with Certified Installer partners.
  • Provide coaching, training, and support to sales reps on LightReach products and portal usage.
  • Visit partners onsite to build trust and collaboration.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve friction points related to milestones, platform functionality, or product knowledge.
  • Evaluate and improve external partner resources and internal processes.
  • Deliver in-person sales training on LightReach processes and market positioning.
  • Support partner resolution and handle escalations via Intercom.
  • Engage in strategic planning and forecasting activities with EPC partners.
  • Maintain knowledge of third-party proposal platforms and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a customer, tech, or sales support role
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a sales-partner-facing role
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) required
  • Experience with interpreting data reports to streamline workflows preferred
  • Willingness to travel in the region up to 50%
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Customer service mindset
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to establish and maintain regular communication and execution of deliverables with partners
  • Ability to proactively visit partners onsite to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize with internal colleagues to resolve friction points or blockers relating to milestones, platform functionality, or product knowledge
  • Ability to deliver in-person sales training on LightReach processes and competitive positioning
  • Knowledge of the solar or construction industry is preferred
  • Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check
