Job Description

The Relationship Manager at Palmetto is responsible for supporting and managing partnerships with certified installers, ensuring smooth financial transactions, building strong relationships, and providing training and support to drive the adoption of Palmetto's renewable energy financing products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage support and processing of Palmetto's financial products for stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain communication with Certified Installer partners and build strong relationships
  • Provide coaching and training to sales reps on LightReach products and portal usage
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve friction points related to milestones, platform functionality, or product knowledge
  • Visit partners onsite to foster trust and collaboration
  • Support partner resolutions and handle escalations via Intercom
  • Deliver in-person sales training on LightReach processes and regional positioning
  • Participate in strategic planning and forecasting activities with EPC partners
  • Continuously evaluate and improve partner resources and customer experience

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a customer, tech, or sales support role
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a sales-partner-facing role
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent educational qualification
  • Experience with interpreting data reports to streamline workflows (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel in the region up to 50%
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Customer service mindset
  • Ability to identify issues and prioritize high ROI activities
  • Ability to establish and maintain regular communication and execute deliverables with partners
  • Ability to proactively visit partners onsite to build and maintain relationships
  • Experience in supporting and resolving escalations in customer support platforms such as Intercom
  • Knowledge of the solar industry or construction industry (preferred)
  • Ability to deliver in-person sales training on LightReach processes and competitive positioning
  • Familiarity with third-party proposal platforms such as Solo, Aurora, Solargraf, Enerflo (preferred)
