The Vice President, Product Commercialization at Palmetto is responsible for creating, launching, and scaling new software and data platform products, driving early market adoption, and developing strategies to achieve significant revenue growth while collaborating with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Create and scale new software and data platform product lines from inception to early growth.
Define commercial strategy, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market plans for new products.
Lead early customer engagement, including enterprise sales, pilots, and partnerships.
Establish product-market fit through customer adoption and revenue generation.
Design product scope and deployment strategies to support scaling to $100M in revenue.
Develop ROI models, commercial narratives, and contract structures.
Build and develop the initial commercial team and operating model for new products.
Collaborate with executive leadership on enterprise opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Requirements
12 years of experience across product leadership, commercialization, growth, or platform businesses
Proven experience launching and scaling software or data products beyond early pilots
Direct exposure to large-scale external revenue growth, e.g., businesses on a path to 100 million ARR
Strong product instincts and ability to influence product direction through customer and market insight
Experience designing and scaling early commercial teams without overbuilding
Comfort leading enterprise customer conversations and complex commercial negotiations
Experience with pricing, contracts, partnerships, and ROI-driven selling
Willingness to travel and engage directly with customers and partners
