Job Description
The Inside Sales - HVAC role involves managing direct-to-consumer leads and inquiries related to energy products, providing customer support, guiding sales processes, and promoting products to help accelerate the adoption of renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to inbound ecommerce customer inquiries and support tickets promptly and effectively.
- Guide and support customers through the sales process, including upselling products and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer experience, streamline workflows, and resolve friction points.
- Coordinate with sales, project, and operational teams to ensure customer satisfaction and meet service level objectives.
- Engage with customers to promote referral programs and enhance Net Promoter Score.
- Assist in the development and implementation of customer self-service workflows to reduce costs and improve service quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) preferred.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment.
- Sales and Customer service mindset.
- Problem solver.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills, including G Suite.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of the construction or Energy industry preferred.
- HVAC sales experience.
- Product knowledge preferred.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
