Job Description
The Account Operations Specialist will manage customer accounts and support partner financial inquiries to ensure accurate and timely financial processing, while collaborating across teams to improve operational efficiency in a clean energy company focused on renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage LightReach Installers pipeline and monitor aging customer accounts to ensure timely resolution
- Analyze aging reports to identify trends or discrepancies and develop strategies to reduce outstanding timelines
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, sales, and customer success teams to address overdue accounts and improve operational efficiency
- Serve as the primary contact for partner accounting inquiries, resolving discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and account reconciliations
- Assist partners with understanding financial statements, billing issues, and payment processes
- Prepare reports and updates for senior management on pipeline status and partner account health
- Drive recommendations on partner offboarding and sales shutoff for problem partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of experience in account operations, financial management, or a similar role
- Proficiency in Excel, and data analysis tools and or financial reporting systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
