Job Description

The Project Delivery Intern supports the execution of solar energy projects from engineering and procurement through to commercial operation, assisting with planning, construction, scheduling, procurement, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the planning and active construction of multiple solar projects
  • Assist Project Managers with submittal compilation, purchase orders, on-site walk-throughs, change orders, RFIs, pay applications, and close-out documents
  • Review project schedules and assist in procuring major equipment
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, and project closeout documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies on all project sites

Requirements

  • Pursuing an associate or bachelor s degree, preferably in Construction Management or Engineering, or 2 years of experience supporting operations, engineering or construction.
  • Excellent, professional written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to take ownership, initiative, and accountability.
  • A demonstrated ability with MS Office, MS Windows and project tracking software is required.
  • Hands-on construction experience and a practical understanding about the general construction and electrical trades.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of integrity and organizational capacity to manage multiple projects.
  • A proven ability to provide efficient, timely, and reliable service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and self-starter, with proven ability to take ownership, initiative, and accountability.
  • Must have a roll up your sleeves and let s get the job done right type attitude.
  • Demonstrated qualities of integrity, credibility, and professional responsibility.
  • A willingness to contribute to our culture which thrives on building trust and holding one another accountable.
  • Ability to travel and access sites of varying terrain about 20% of working time.
  • Must carry an active driver s license with acceptable driving record.
