Job Description
A Development Intern at OneEnergy Renewables supports solar energy project development by conducting research, site analysis, and due diligence, while collaborating with various teams to navigate industry regulations and contribute to project success during a full-time summer internship.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and obtain project or market information related to zoning, permits, land records, and industry studies
- Collaborate with internal teams to document project details and improve processes
- Conduct due diligence and site analysis to identify constraints and assist in obstacle resolution
- Participate in managing project expenses
- Attend team meetings, record minutes, and share knowledge to support project success
Requirements
- In pursuit of a degree in a related field such as real estate, sustainability, renewable energy, policy, communications, or similar.
- High degree of organization and time-management skills.
- Strong aptitude in MS Office software.
- Demonstrated interest in renewable energy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Self-motivated, with proven ability to take ownership, initiative, and accountability.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
- Willingness to contribute to a culture that thrives on building trust and holding one another accountable.
- Position may require travel within the Midwest including nights up to 20% of working time.
