Job Description
A Development Intern at OneEnergy Renewables supports the development of solar energy projects by conducting research, site analysis, and due diligence, while collaborating across teams to navigate industry regulations and contribute to project success in a dynamic renewable energy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and obtain critical project or market information regarding zoning, permits, land records, and industry studies
- Collaborate with internal teams to document project details and improve processes
- Conduct due diligence and site analysis to identify constraints and participate in obstacle resolution
- Assist in managing project expenses
- Participate in team meetings, record and share minutes
- Share knowledge with coworkers to promote project success and organizational learning
Requirements
- In pursuit of a degree in a related field such as real estate, sustainability, renewable energy, policy, or communications.
- High degree of organization and time-management skills.
- Strong aptitude in MS Office software.
- Demonstrated interest in renewable energy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Self-motivated, with proven ability to take ownership, initiative, and accountability.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
- Willingness to contribute to a culture that thrives on building trust and holding one another accountable.
- Position may require travel within the local office area, including nights up to 20% of working time.
