Job Description
A hands-on, entrepreneurial sales role focused on developing and closing commercial and industrial solar contracts in Victoria or NSW, while establishing partnerships with OEMs. The position involves face-to-face client engagement, site visits, proposal development, and shaping the company's go-to-market strategy in the solar service industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new Commercial Industrial (C I O M) contracts in Victoria or NSW
- Establish new partnerships with OEMs to create referral and service models
- Meet clients face-to-face, visit sites, and develop proposals
- Build relationships with decision makers in government, education, retail, asset management, and commercial property sectors
- Shape the sales strategy and go-to-market approach as the first dedicated sales hire in this space
Requirements
- Proven experience in creating opportunities and closing deals in a sales role, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Experience in driving new Commercial Industrial (C I O M) contracts, specifically across Victoria or New South Wales (NSW).
- Ability to open new partnerships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to establish referral and service models.
- Experience in meeting clients face-to-face, visiting sites, developing proposals, and building relationships with decision makers in government, education, retail, asset management, and commercial property groups.
- Demonstrated ability to shape sales strategies and go-to-market approaches as the first dedicated sales hire in this space.
- Strong commercial acumen and proactive attitude to help shape the company's next growth chapter.
