Job Description
A hands-on, entrepreneurial sales role focused on developing new Commercial Industrial contracts and partnerships in the Australian solar sector, involving client engagement, site visits, proposal development, and shaping the company's go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new Commercial Industrial (C I O M) contracts in Victoria or NSW
- Establish new partnerships with OEMs to create referral and service models
- Meet clients face-to-face, visit sites, and develop proposals
- Build relationships with decision makers in government, education, retail, asset management, and commercial property sectors
- Shape and implement the sales strategy and go-to-market approach
Requirements
- Experience in creating opportunities and closing deals in a sales environment, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Ability to drive new Commercial Industrial (C I O M) contracts across Victoria or New South Wales (NSW).
- Experience in opening new partnerships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to establish referral and service models.
- Ability to meet clients face-to-face, visit sites, develop proposals, and build relationships with decision makers in government, education, retail, asset management, and commercial property groups.
- Strong commercial acumen and being commercially sharp.
- Willingness to be the first dedicated sales hire in this space and to shape the sales motion and go-to-market strategy.
- Ability to work in a role that involves face-to-face client meetings, site visits, and proposal development.
- Proactive attitude and enthusiasm to help shape the company's growth.
- Legal right to work in Australia (implied by the location and nature of the role).
