Job Description
A Smart Meter Engineer responsible for installing and demonstrating smart meters in customers' homes, providing energy-saving advice, and ensuring excellent customer service as part of the Octopus Energy Services team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install smart meters and in-home displays at customer premises
- Demonstrate how meters and displays operate and how they can help save energy
- Answer customer questions related to smart meters and the green energy revolution
- Ensure safety and maintain customer service excellence during installations
Requirements
- Experience as a smart meter engineer with a track record of safety and customer excellence.
- Ability to represent the company's brand in customers' homes and communicate effectively with customers.
- Willingness to perform meter installations and demonstrate how meters and in-home displays work to customers.
- Capability to explain how meters and displays can help customers save energy and answer questions about green energy initiatives.
