A Senior TechOps Generalist at Octopus will be responsible for providing comprehensive enterprise IT support, strategic planning, and organizational change within a cloud-first environment, ensuring secure and efficient technology operations across the company.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support across the full spectrum of enterprise IT, from first-line support to strategic planning.
Ensure the company's IT operations are secure and safe.
Collaborate in defining and shaping the TechOps team and its functions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using engineering expertise.
Implement and manage cloud-first IT solutions to enable scalability and efficiency.
Participate in organizational change initiatives related to IT operations.
Requirements
Deeply experienced in several facets of Enterprise IT, including roles such as Systems engineer, DevOps, Tech support, Technical support, Technical support analyst, IT support, IT desktop support, Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, Workplace technology, Solutions specialist, Solutions administrator, Systems manager, Support manager.
Experience working in a cloud-first environment, with a focus on scalable solutions and no on-premises Active Directory (AD).
Ability to deal with ambiguity and work on varying challenges across the company on a daily basis.
Experience providing support services to employees, including 1st line support and high-level strategic planning.
Strong understanding of modern enterprise IT practices and organizational change management.
Ability to support and build a secure and safe IT environment for the organization.
Experience working in a small and efficient TechOps team environment, contributing to organizational growth and transformation.
