Job Description
A Senior Analytics Engineer responsible for building and consolidating a global analytics platform that enables efficient data pipelines, scalable modeling, and self-serve insights for multiple international energy businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain efficient data pipelines from source data to insights.
- Develop scalable Business Intelligence (BI) models for multiple global businesses.
- Create and manage notebooks for detailed data storytelling.
- Design and update dashboards for real-time data monitoring.
- Ensure data and metrics are trustworthy and accurate.
- Facilitate self-service data access and automation for consumers.
Requirements
- Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines from source data to insights, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Ability to scale out Business Intelligence (BI) modeling to support multiple Octopus Energy businesses around the world.
- Proficiency in providing insights through Notebooks for detailed storytelling and Dashboards for live updates on a domain.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data consistency across multiple global regions.
- Experience with building and managing analytics platforms that support self-service data retrieval and automation for consumers.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies for consolidating analytics tooling and ensuring consistent data modeling across global businesses.
