Job Description
A Roofer's mate role supporting the installation of solar photovoltaic systems across the UK as part of a renewable energy company's growth team, helping to promote sustainable energy solutions and fight climate change.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on rooftops
- Prepare and secure roofing surfaces for solar panel installation
- Support the roofing team in ensuring safety and quality standards during installation
Requirements
- Experience as a Roofer or Roofer's mate, specifically in Solar PV installation or similar roofing work
- Ability to assist with the installation of Solar PV systems on UK homes
- Willingness to work across various locations in the UK as part of a nationwide team
- Physical ability to perform roofing tasks, including working at heights and handling roofing materials
- Basic understanding of roofing safety procedures and the use of relevant safety equipment
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and work as part of a team
- Commitment to providing high levels of customer service and assisting customers with their solar installations
