Job Description
A Tax Associate at Aprio will support clients in maximizing their opportunities by providing tax services within a dynamic, growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm, collaborating with a passionate team and leveraging innovative strategies to deliver exceptional client solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with tax planning and compliance
- Prepare and review tax returns and related documentation
- Research tax issues and stay updated on tax laws and regulations
Requirements
- A complete understanding of tax laws and regulations relevant to the role of a Tax Associate.
- Experience working with a CPA or advisory firm, or equivalent experience in tax preparation, compliance, or consulting.
- Ability to assist clients in maximizing their opportunities through tax planning and compliance.
- Proficiency in using tax software and related tools to prepare and review tax returns and related documentation.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret and apply tax laws and regulations accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally within the firm, including pursuing CPA certification support and related programs.
- Availability to work full-time, with flexibility for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
- Commitment to adhering to the firm's culture and fundamental behaviors that guide team-member and client interactions.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (implied by the need to work in U.S. offices and participate in firm programs).
