Job Description
The Payroll Manager will oversee the end-to-end payroll process for approximately 8,000 UK employees across multiple locations, ensuring accurate and timely payments in compliance with UK legislation, and act as the main point of contact for payroll-related matters within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process for approximately 8,000 UK employees across multiple locations
- Ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time in compliance with UK legislation, tax regulations, and internal policies
- Act as the key point of contact for all payroll-related matters and liaise with HMRC, pension providers, and external stakeholders
- Maintain strong technical knowledge of UK payroll systems and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
Requirements
- Experience in a complex, fast paced high-volume payroll environment managing payroll for approximately 8000 UK employees across multiple locations.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK payroll systems and processes.
- Ability to oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Ensuring compliance with current UK legislation, tax regulations, and internal policies related to payroll.
- Acting as the key point of contact for all payroll-related matters.
- Liaising with HMRC, pension providers, and other external stakeholders related to payroll.
