The Investment Manager role involves sourcing, evaluating, and managing renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, and energy storage assets, primarily in the Asian market, to support the company's expansion and long-term ownership of utility-scale renewable energy assets.
Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and execute investment deals in renewable energy assets including solar, wind (onshore and offshore), energy storage, and other energy transition projects.
Manage and oversee the performance and operations of renewable energy assets within the investment portfolio.
Conduct due diligence, financial modeling, and risk assessment for potential investments.
Coordinate with project developers, partners, and stakeholders across multiple countries to facilitate investment processes.
Support the growth and expansion of the investment portfolio in the Asian region.
Requirements
Experience working on deals in solar, wind onshore offshore, energy storage, and other energy transition asset management
Proven track record in sourcing, investing in, and managing utility-scale renewable energy assets
Experience working in a role related to investment management within the renewable energy sector
Ability to support the expansion of investment activities in Asia, including managing mandates involving projects in multiple countries
Demonstrated knowledge of renewable energy projects, including wind farms, solar power plants, energy storage, and hydrogen projects
Experience working with large-scale energy-generating companies and managing portfolios of renewable energy assets
Ability to work effectively in a fast-growing team based out of Tokyo
