Job Description

The Head of Field Operations at Octopus Energy Services is responsible for leading a large team across the North of the UK to ensure the successful installation of low-carbon technologies, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving operational performance and continuous improvement in a fast-growing sector.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage field operations teams responsible for installing low-carbon technologies across the North UK region.
Ensure the end-to-end delivery of installation projects with a focus on operational excellence, quality, and performance.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance work processes and scale operations sustainably.

Requirements

Experience and engaging leadership skills to head up field operations across the North of the UK.
Ability to lead a large, high-performing team responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through the installation of low carbon technology.
Proven track record of driving performance, quality, and continuous improvement at scale in a field operations environment.
Ownership of end-to-end delivery of installations in the region, ensuring operational excellence.
Ability to identify opportunities to improve operational processes and how work is performed.
Experience in scaling operations sustainably as demand continues to grow.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail while thinking strategically.
Experience in managing installation projects involving smart meters, EV chargers, low carbon heating, home batteries, solar, or similar low-carbon technologies (implied by the nature of the role).
