Job Description
A Finance Data Analyst role focused on understanding, validating, and controlling the company's cost base through data analysis, process automation, and collaboration with finance and business teams, at a high-growth, innovative energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand, validate, and control the company's cost base.
- Collaborate with Finance and Gross Margin teams to develop and maintain a robust cost accruals process.
- Partner with other teams to analyze how costs arise in the business and translate insights into automated processes.
- Analyze complex data to improve financial controls and build new systems and processes.
Requirements
- A curious, detail-driven part or fully qualified accountant with data skills
- Experience in understanding, validating, and controlling a cost base within a finance environment
- Ability to work closely with Finance and Gross Margin teams to build and maintain a robust cost accruals process
- Partnering with other teams across the business to understand how costs arise in the real world
- Turning insights into scalable, automated processes
- Enjoyment in getting under the hood of complex data, improving controls, and building new processes and systems
