Job Description
The Director of Marketing will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy to accelerate customer acquisition, build brand engagement, and position the company as the UK's most trusted electric vehicle partner across B2B and B2C markets, driving growth and brand recognition for a pioneering electric car leasing startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the end-to-end marketing strategy across B2B and B2C verticals.
- Own the execution of marketing initiatives spanning brand, growth, product marketing, and PR.
- Align marketing efforts with sales, P&L, and product teams to support business objectives.
- Build and strengthen the company's brand as a trusted electric vehicle partner in the UK.
- Accelerate customer acquisition and foster engagement and loyalty among drivers.
Requirements
- Own the end-to-end marketing strategy and have overall responsibility for execution spanning brand, growth, product marketing, PR, and go-to-market alignment with Sales, P L, and Product.
- Build and lead a world-class, growth-led marketing function across B2B and B2C verticals.
- Accelerate customer acquisition, build engagement and loyalty among drivers, and sharpen market positioning.
- Strengthen the brand as the UK’s most trusted electric vehicle partner for both individuals and employers.
- Report directly to the CEO and operate in a senior, high-impact role.
- Experience in building and leading a marketing team or function.
- Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies.
- Experience in managing brand, growth, product marketing, and PR activities.
- Ability to align marketing initiatives with sales, P L, and product teams.
- Strong understanding of the electric vehicle industry or related sectors (preferred but not explicitly mandatory).
