Job Description
The Development Manager will oversee the progression of renewable energy sites from initial land contact through planning and construction, working with landowners and stakeholders to support sustainable energy projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the development of renewable energy sites from initial land contact to construction readiness
- Negotiate land option agreements with landowners
- Prepare and submit planning applications for renewable energy projects
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including landowners and communities, throughout the development process
- Support projects through various development stages, including site assessment and permitting
Requirements
- Experience in taking renewable energy sites through from first contact with landowners and land option agreements, to submitting planning applications and getting ready for construction and beyond
- Ability to manage the entire development journey involving customers, landowners, and other stakeholders
- Willingness to travel across locations in the UK as part of the role
