- Apply Human Centred Design tools and theories to optimize user experience outcomes.
- Wireframe and communicate design concepts efficiently to developers, focusing on value and practicality.
Requirements
- Understanding of UX, tone of voice, persuasion, and reassurance, with the ability to make complex concepts simple and create user-centered designs that work for humans.
- Experience working on campaigns, web experiences, or events from initial idea in a sketchbook to launch and beyond.
- Knowledge of design for the real world, including exploring all elements of design and understanding how real humans use technology in their messy lives.
- Familiarity with the tools and theories of Human Centred Design, with a focus on outcomes rather than process.
- Enthusiasm and the ability to lead and motivate others to get work done.
- Ability to be a 'grafter' by putting effort where it delivers the most value and finding workarounds when resources are limited.
- Experience in wireframing just enough to communicate effectively with developers.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment, thriving in an office vibe and being a people person.
- Prioritization of effectiveness and efficiency over traditional business processes, with a focus on getting things done by knowing what is right, even if it is difficult.
- Experience in design for the real world, including campaigns, web experiences, or events, from concept to launch.
- Ability to work without relying on user personas, focusing instead on real human use cases.
- Open-mindedness and willingness to try different aspects of design, including UX, campaigns, and experiences.
- Experience in working independently without curated briefs or account managers, navigating your own journey driven by curiosity and improvement.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible process, typically up to 4 weeks, and communicate effectively with the recruitment team throughout the hiring process.
- Willingness to accommodate specific needs or preferences during the interview process, with a proactive approach to requesting accommodations if necessary.
