Job Description
The Construction Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of renewable energy projects across multiple technologies, ensuring they meet standards for time, cost, quality, safety, and ESG, from development through to operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as OEGEN's representative and client agent for construction projects
- Ensure delivery of projects within time, cost, quality, HSE, and ESG standards
- Oversee projects across full lifecycle from due diligence to operational readiness
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners such as EPCs, OEMs, and regulators
- Manage project activities across multiple renewable energy technologies including wind, solar, storage, and hybrids
Requirements
- Experience as a Construction Asset Manager or in a similar role overseeing renewable energy projects, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from development through construction and into operations.
- Ability to act as OEGEN’s representative and client agent for construction projects, ensuring that time, cost, quality, HSE, and ESG standards are consistently achieved.
- Experience managing multi-technology projects including wind, solar, storage, and hybrid energy projects across the full project lifecycle.
- Experience in due diligence, contract negotiation, construction oversight, project handover, and operational readiness for renewable energy assets.
- Ability to work closely with fund-aligned commercial and financial teams, technical asset managers, external partners such as EPCs, OEMs, owner’s engineers, advisors, and regulators.
- Availability to work an average of 3 days per week in the office in London.
- Experience in driving best practice in construction asset management within the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental (HSE), and ESG standards relevant to construction projects.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.
