Job Description

A Business Development Manager responsible for driving sales and building relationships within the electric vehicle charging and fleet solutions sector, supporting customers in transitioning to sustainable EV fleets and contributing to the growth of Octopus Electroverse's global eMobility platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in electric vehicle charging, fuel cards, and fleet solutions.
  • Advise and support customers throughout their transition to electric vehicle fleets.
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with customers to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Represent Octopus Electroverse for Business as the primary point of contact and voice for clients.
  • Drive sales growth through a proactive business hunting approach.

Requirements

  • Experience as a business hunter or in a sales role, with a focus on electric vehicle charging, fuel cards, and all types of fleet solutions.
  • Ability to advise and support customers throughout their journey towards transitioning to a sustainable electric vehicle fleet.
  • A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer experiences and driving sustainability.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Willingness to work from the London office and occasionally remotely.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and be the face and voice of Octopus Electroverse for Business.
