Job Description
A Senior Full Stack Software Developer at Nexamp is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying efficient web applications using React, Django, and cloud technologies to support the company's mission of advancing clean energy solutions. The role involves leading front-end development, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating across teams to optimize software that accelerates sustainable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy reliable and efficient production software using React, Django, and Azure stack.
- Collaborate in sprint planning, execution, code reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
- Own design decisions for React applications and establish scalable patterns, standards, and best practices.
- Guide and mentor junior developers through collaboration and code reviews.
- Solve complex problems independently using debugging and technical expertise.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of full stack software development experience at companies with 10 or more developers.
- Experience architecting, building, and deploying consumer-facing frontend applications in React and Typescript.
- Experience developing and optimizing web-based solutions in modern Python, ideally using Django, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
- Robust understanding of web standards, infrastructure databases, storage, caching, content delivery, and cloud platform offerings.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with users and business stakeholders, facilitating software and process requirements.
- Experience leveraging debugging expertise and a proven track record of independently solving problems.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment, and infrastructure tools like Terraform.
- Understanding of cutting-edge AI tools and a commitment to leveraging them to rapidly deliver high-quality software.
- Ownership mentality and initiative to make improvements to code, processes, and user experiences across the organization.
- Can-do attitude toward architecting right-sized solutions to real-world business problems.

- Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
