Job Description

The role involves leading Nexamp's third-party sales partnerships and sales enablement functions, focusing on operational process improvement, vendor management, and supporting partner-led and inside sales channels to drive growth and efficiency in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Nexamp's residential sales vendor strategy and manage vendor program performance and relationships.
  • Oversee sales enablement and operations across partner-led and inside sales channels, including onboarding, training, and tools.
  • Manage and develop the Sales Enablement Operations function, including process design, documentation, and compliance.
  • Analyze performance metrics and data to drive continuous improvement in sales funnel health, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, CX, Legal, Product, and Compliance to address operational gaps and support sales teams.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in vendor management, B2B partnerships, channel sales, sales enablement, or program management, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of scaling and managing third-party vendor sales programs.
  • Strong operational background with expertise in process design, systems implementation, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience building or leading a sales enablement function including training programs, playbooks, and rep readiness initiatives.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with advanced ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Skilled in executive-level communication, negotiation, and vendor relationship management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for residential sales, ideally within energy, solar, or adjacent industries.
  • Experience with Salesforce and advanced Excel data analysis tools is preferred.
  • Direct experience managing large-scale door-to-door or B2B vendor programs is preferred.
  • Background in community solar or renewable energy industries is preferred.
  • Program management certification or formal process improvement training such as Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
  • Experience owning LMS platforms and sales training content development is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond the organization.
  • Demonstrated initiative to improve current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.
  • Strong accountability and ownership mentality.
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty.
  • Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and apply that knowledge to inform business decisions.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment from Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, or New York, NY.
