The Systems Electrical Engineer will be responsible for developing, integrating, and supporting control system devices and software for Nevados' solar trackers, ensuring reliable operation and continuous improvement of the control systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and design control system devices for solar trackers
Integrate control devices into the overall system architecture
Improve and update existing control system devices
Support manufacturing and technical troubleshooting of control devices
Collaborate with the Controls team to ensure system reliability and performance
Requirements
End-to-end development of new control system devices, including design, implementation, and testing.
Integration of control system devices into the overall system architecture.
Ongoing development, improvements, manufacturing, and technical support for existing control system devices.
Work at least 50% of the time at the Nevados headquarters in Oakland, California.
Willingness to travel at least 10-20% of the time for company off-sites, conferences, trade shows, site visits, and other events as needed.
