Job Description
The Overnight Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, employees, and assets during nighttime hours through surveillance, patrols, and incident response, maintaining a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols of the facility during overnight hours
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity
- Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and emergencies
- Ensure the safety and security of the facility, employees, and assets
Requirements
- The candidate must be able to work overnight hours and remain attentive and alert throughout the shift.
- The candidate must have the ability to actively monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols of the facility.
- The candidate must demonstrate steady judgment in response to any incidents that occur during the shift.
- The candidate must maintain a visible presence on-site to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the security of the site.
- The candidate must communicate clearly and respond calmly in stressful or urgent situations.
- The candidate must be able to perform physical tasks associated with patrolling and monitoring the facility during nighttime hours.
- The candidate must be able to work in a drug-free workplace environment.
