Job Description
A Delivery Driver responsible for safely and courteously delivering landscape materials using non-CDL dump trucks, while providing excellent customer service and adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of landscape materials
- Operate dump trucks non CDL sizes (e.g., Ford F550, F650) in compliance with regulations and company policies
- Navigate difficult areas using good peripheral vision and depth perception
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers
- Meet and exceed customer expectations
- Maintain trustworthiness, reliability, and a strong work ethic
- Problem solve and take initiative in a busy landscape supply environment
Requirements
- Candidate must be knowledgeable of and compliant with all relevant State of California Regulations, federal regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle.
- Candidate must be skilled in safely operating dump trucks non CDL sizes, for example Ford F550 and/or Ford F650.
- Position requires good peripheral vision and depth perception while navigating difficult areas.
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills while interacting with customers.
- Candidate needs to meet and exceed customer expectations and act in a professional, courteous, and cooperative manner toward customers and co-workers.
- Candidate must be trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking.
- Candidate must take initiative, problem solve, and be a team player in a busy Landscape Supply Yard.
- Candidate must be able to perform safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of landscape materials.
- Candidate must have a minimum of 0 years of experience specified, but demonstrated ability to operate relevant vehicles and interact professionally is implied as mandatory.
