Job Description
A Structural Engineer responsible for designing, managing, and preparing construction drawings and calculations for utility-scale solar power arrays, including foundation and tracker structures, while coordinating with project teams and overseeing construction administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prepare construction deliverables drawings and calculations for solar power arrays
- Design structural components of solar trackers and foundations
- Prepare structural construction drawings
- Coordinate with project Engineers of Record (EORs)
- Oversee construction administration activities
Requirements
- Experience as a Structural Engineer overseeing utility-scale and distributed generation solar project design.
- Ability to manage and prepare construction deliverables drawings and calculations for solar power arrays.
- Proficiency in structural design of the solar tracker and foundation design.
- Experience in preparing structural construction drawings.
- Ability to coordinate with project Engineers of Record (EORs).
- Experience in construction administration related to solar projects.
- Willingness to travel at least 10-20% of the time for company off-sites, conferences, trade shows, site visits, and other potential events.
