Job Description
The Systems Electrical Engineer will be responsible for developing, integrating, and supporting control system devices and software for solar trackers, ensuring their reliable operation and continuous improvement within a remote-first organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design control system devices from end-to-end.
- Integrate control devices into the overall system architecture.
- Improve and update existing control system devices and software.
- Support manufacturing and technical troubleshooting of control devices.
Requirements
- End-to-end development of new control system devices, including hardware and software components, for reliable operation of solar trackers.
- Integration of control system devices into the overall system architecture of solar trackers.
- Ongoing development, improvements, manufacturing, and technical support for existing control system devices.
- Work at least 50% of the time at the Nevados headquarters in Oakland, California.
- Willingness to travel at least 10-20% of the time for company off-sites, conferences, trade shows, site visits, and other events as needed.
