Job Description
The Vice President of Strategic Initiatives PMO leads the company's strategic projects, manages relationships with internal and external partners, and oversees the PMO team to support rapid growth and operational improvements in the company's expanding submetering SaaS business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Metergy's Strategic Initiatives function to support rapid business growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with business leaders, technology leaders, and external partners.
- Oversee and direct the PMO team responsible for implementing operational, technology, and information technology projects.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive organizational improvements and strategic growth initiatives.
- Ensure successful execution of projects that facilitate the company's expansion into new markets and scaling of operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading and managing a Strategic Initiatives function within a rapidly growing business environment.
- Experience leading and managing relationships between business leaders, technology leaders, and external business partners.
- Experience leading and managing a Project Management Office (PMO) team responsible for implementing Business Initiatives, Operational Technology, and Information Technology projects.
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational growth and improvement through strategic initiatives and project execution.
- Experience working in or with utility, energy, or infrastructure sectors is preferred but not explicitly required.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as a member of the Leadership Team and report to the COO.
- Strong leadership skills to guide teams and influence stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Experience in managing large-scale projects related to business growth, technology implementation, or operational improvements.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic, start-up-like environment while leveraging over 20 years of performance and the backing of a major infrastructure investment partner.
