Job Description
The Team Lead, Settlements is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Settlements team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of settlement activities, providing leadership and guidance to team members, and driving operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Settlements team to ensure accurate and timely processing of settlement activities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and operational guidance to team members
- Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation within the team
- Act as a key point of escalation for issue resolution
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and support strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of a team, specifically in processing settlement activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to provide coaching and operational guidance to team members.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation within a team environment.
- Experience acting as a key point of escalation and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and good judgment in operational decision-making.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and effective risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and support strategic initiatives.
