The Team Lead, Settlements is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Settlements team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of settlement activities, providing leadership and guidance to team members, and driving operational efficiency and risk management in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the Settlements team to ensure accurate and timely processing of settlement activities
Provide leadership, coaching, and operational guidance to team members
Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation within the team
Act as a point of escalation for issues and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve them
Support strategic initiatives and maintain strong operational controls
Requirements
Experience in overseeing day-to-day operations of a team, specifically in a settlements or similar operational environment, ensuring accurate and timely processing of settlement activities.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to provide coaching, operational guidance, and support to team members.
Strong ability to drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation within a team or department.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities to effectively resolve issues and support strategic initiatives.
Ability to act as a key point of escalation for operational issues.
Strong attention to detail and good judgment in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Demonstrated proactive mindset focused on operational excellence and risk management.
