Job Description
The Master Electrician is responsible for installing and inspecting electrical systems to determine appropriate sub-metering measures in commercial and multifamily buildings, ensuring proactive communication and continuous improvement to support business growth and client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installations of electrical systems for sub-metering measures
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure proper sub-metering setup
- Determine appropriate sub-metering measures based on electrical system assessments
- Proactively communicate and identify issues related to electrical systems
- Develop mitigation plans to address potential electrical or installation issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business operations and electrical processes
Requirements
- Possession of a valid Master Electrician license issued by the State of New York.
- Experience performing installations and inspections of electrical systems to determine appropriate sub-metering measures.
- Proactive communication skills and the ability to identify issues early to help the business stay ahead of potential problems.
- Ability to develop sufficient mitigation plans to minimize impact to business and Metergy clients and customers.
- Commitment to continuous improvement to help the business operations evolve with changing market conditions and business growth plans.
