Job Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities to support Orbitworks' growth in satellite manufacturing, managing the entire sales process from lead generation to long-term partnerships in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and progress new business opportunities
- Manage sales opportunities from initial contact to long-term partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients
- Develop proposals and engage with customers
- Support negotiations to close deals
Requirements
- Experience in supporting commercial growth by identifying, developing, and progressing new business opportunities.
- Ability to manage opportunities end-to-end, including early conversations, pipeline building, proposal development, customer engagement, supporting negotiations, and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Strong commercial judgment, structure, and follow-through skills in a fast-moving environment.
- Enjoyment and ability in building relationships and shaping opportunities.
- Experience working closely with internal teams to convert leads into real outcomes.
- Mid-level professional experience relevant to business development roles.
