Job Description
The Tech Lead ML and AI Tools will lead a team of engineers in developing AI-powered tools and machine learning models to support utility clients, focusing on creating innovative solutions such as chatbots, voice bots, and predictive models for use cases like water leak detection and churn prediction within the energy and utility sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional team of 6-8 engineers to define technical strategy for AI tools and machine learning models.
- Develop and deliver production-grade AI-powered tools, including agent-assist systems, chatbots, and voice bots.
- Build predictive models for utility use cases such as water leakage detection, churn prediction, and contact propensity.
- Drive innovation across large language models (LLM), data, and machine learning domains.
- Support internal teams and utility clients by building AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Requirements
- Lead a cross-functional team of 6-8 engineers to define technical strategy, deliver production-grade systems, and drive innovation across LLM, data, and ML domains.
- Build AI-powered tools and machine learning models that support utility clients and internal teams, including AI agent-assist tools for internal and customer-facing Chat Bots and Voice Bots.
- Develop predictive models for utility use cases such as water leakage detection, churn prediction, and contact propensity.
- Experience in delivering AI and ML solutions in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), data, and machine learning domains.
- Ability to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI systems and tools.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams in AI/ML projects.
- Excellent communication skills to define and articulate technical strategies and innovations.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (implied by the role, though not explicitly stated).
