Job Description

The Software Engineer at Kraken will develop and enhance AI-driven platforms for energy management, focusing on optimizing renewable resources, creating intelligent grids, and improving customer experience through advanced systems and communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain AI-driven platforms for energy management
  • Optimize renewable energy generation and create intelligent grid solutions
  • Implement and improve Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing, meter data management, CRM, and AI-driven communication tools
  • Contribute to the development of innovative energy industry solutions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in software engineering with a focus on energy management systems or related fields.
  • Strong programming skills in relevant languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar) as required for developing and maintaining energy management platforms.
  • Experience with developing or working with Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing systems, meter data management, CRM, or AI-driven communications platforms.
  • Ability to design, develop, and implement scalable and reliable software solutions for energy management applications.
  • Understanding of renewable energy optimization, smart grid technologies, or related energy industry concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and communicate technical concepts effectively.
  • Educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and the ability to handle user data responsibly.
