Job Description
The Software Engineer at Kraken will develop and enhance AI-driven platforms for energy management, focusing on optimizing renewable resources, creating intelligent grids, and improving customer experience through advanced systems and communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI-driven platforms for energy management
- Optimize renewable energy generation and create intelligent grid solutions
- Implement and improve Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing, meter data management, CRM, and AI-driven communication tools
- Contribute to the development of innovative energy industry solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience in software engineering with a focus on energy management systems or related fields.
- Strong programming skills in relevant languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar) as required for developing and maintaining energy management platforms.
- Experience with developing or working with Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing systems, meter data management, CRM, or AI-driven communications platforms.
- Ability to design, develop, and implement scalable and reliable software solutions for energy management applications.
- Understanding of renewable energy optimization, smart grid technologies, or related energy industry concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and the ability to handle user data responsibly.
