Job Description
The Lead Software Engineer at Kraken Utilities will oversee the development and integration of software solutions for utility management across water, broadband, and energy sectors, focusing on complex data processing, system re-architecture, and innovative customer experience enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and integration of OSS Telco systems for Kraken Utilities
- Architect and implement software solutions for water leak detection, customer experience, and high-volume data processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integrations and platform enhancements
Requirements
- Experience as a Lead Software Engineer or in a similar senior software development role with a proven track record of leading technical teams.
- Strong expertise in software architecture, design, and development, particularly in building scalable and high-volume data processing systems.
- Proficiency in developing and integrating OSS (Operational Support Systems) and Telco (Telecommunications) integrations.
- Solid understanding of utility management systems, including billing, CRM, meter data, and customer communications, with experience in AI-driven platforms preferred.
- Experience working on complex projects involving water leak detection, customer experience transformation, or similar industries.
- Ability to architect and evolve large-scale software platforms to support rapid growth and new industry requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results on time.
