Job Description
The Software Engineer II will contribute to developing and enhancing Kraken's energy management platform, focusing on creating innovative solutions for a sustainable and intelligent energy system to transform the industry globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions for energy optimization and grid management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system features
- Contribute to the development of a smart, sustainable energy operating system
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer II or in a similar software development role with a demonstrated track record of delivering software solutions.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages relevant to the role (such as Python, Java, C++, or similar), with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Experience with software development best practices, including version control, testing, and debugging.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team, including working with energy industry experts, product managers, and other engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues related to energy systems and software solutions.
- Knowledge of energy systems, renewable energy optimization, smart grid technology, or related fields is preferred but not explicitly required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Physical ability to perform tasks associated with software development, such as working at a computer for extended periods.
