Job Description

The Senior Technical Product Manager bridges product strategy and technical delivery by translating market-specific needs into actionable requirements, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless local and global product integration within the energy management platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate local and market-specific needs into actionable technical requirements.
  • Manage delivery timelines and ensure high-quality execution in collaboration with engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Country Tech teams, Tech Leads, and global Product Managers to align local requirements with global product strategies.
  • Coordinate with Client Delivery teams to ensure consistent Kraken localization and meet client commitments in timing and technical quality.
  • Build and maintain features, integrations, and data pipelines to adapt Kraken to local market and regulatory requirements.
  • Enable Kraken to operate seamlessly within different countries and territories by supporting regional onboarding, data ingestion, and compliance needs.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar role with a focus on translating local and market-specific needs into actionable technical requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage delivery timelines and ensure high-quality execution in collaboration with engineering and cross-functional delivery and product teams.
  • Experience working closely with Country Tech teams and Tech Leads, acting as a connector between local execution and global alignment.
  • Ability to partner closely with global Product Managers to bring countries onto global products, ensuring local requirements are effectively represented in global roadmaps.
  • Experience ensuring solutions are consistent, scalable, and aligned with global product strategy.
  • Experience collaborating with Client Delivery teams to ensure Kraken localisation is consistent and commitments to clients are met in terms of timing and technical quality.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functionally to unblock delivery, align priorities, and maintain transparency around feature and date commitments.
  • Experience working within the Markets Delivery team or similar environment, building and maintaining features, integrations, and data pipelines to adapt to local market and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of onboarding journeys for clients switching providers, and ingesting metering, pricing, and market data unique to each region.
  • Strong understanding of the operational needs of energy management platforms, including customer information systems, billing, meter data management, CRM, and AI-driven communications.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with engineering, product teams, and stakeholders across different regions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment focused on innovative, AI-driven energy management solutions.
  • Willingness to work within a team that emphasizes honesty, empathy, and collaboration, and to uphold the company's values and culture.
  • Legal authorization to work in the relevant country or region where the role is based.
