Job Description
The Senior Technical Product Manager is responsible for translating market-specific needs into technical requirements, managing delivery timelines, and ensuring high-quality execution by collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams. They act as a connector between local and global teams to enable seamless operation of Kraken's energy management platform across different regions.
Key Responsibilities

- Manage delivery timelines and ensure high-quality execution in collaboration with engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate with Country Tech teams and Tech Leads to align local execution with global strategies.
- Partner with global Product Managers to integrate countries onto global products, ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned.
- Collaborate with Client Delivery teams to ensure consistent Kraken localization and meet client commitments.
- Build and maintain features, integrations, and data pipelines to adapt Kraken to local market and regulatory requirements.
- Enable Kraken to operate seamlessly within different countries and territories by supporting regional operations.
Requirements
- The candidate must have experience in translating local and market-specific needs into actionable technical requirements and managing delivery timelines to ensure high-quality execution in collaboration with engineering and cross-functional delivery and product teams.
- The candidate must work very closely with Country Tech teams and Tech Leads, acting as a connector between local execution and global alignment.
- The candidate must partner closely with global Product Managers to bring countries onto global products, ensuring that local requirements are effectively represented in global roadmaps and that solutions are consistent, scalable, and aligned with global product strategy.
- The candidate must collaborate with Client Delivery teams to ensure Kraken localisation is consistent while commitments to clients are met, both in terms of timing and technical quality.
- The candidate must coordinate cross-functionally to unblock delivery, align priorities, and maintain transparency around feature and date commitments.
- The candidate must be responsible for enabling Kraken to operate seamlessly within each of the countries and territories with clients, building and maintaining features, integrations, and data pipelines that allow Kraken to adapt to local market and regulatory requirements.
- The candidate must have experience in building onboarding journeys for clients switching providers and ingesting metering, pricing, and market data unique to each region.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, technical delivery, or a related role in a technology or energy management environment.
- The candidate must have a strong understanding of energy markets, regulatory requirements, and local market conditions relevant to the regions they will support.
- The candidate must have excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with global and local teams and stakeholders.
- The candidate must have a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time in a fast-paced environment.
- The candidate must have a technical background or understanding sufficient to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and understand technical requirements.
- The candidate must be willing to work within a team environment and demonstrate honesty and empathy, aligning with the company's values.
- The candidate must be able to work in a role that involves coordinating features, integrations, and data pipelines related to energy management and customer information systems.
