Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer - Markets will develop and enhance innovative, AI-driven energy management platforms focused on optimizing renewable energy, creating smarter grids, and improving customer experiences to support a sustainable energy future.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI-driven platforms for energy management
- Optimize renewable energy generation and create intelligent grid solutions
- Implement and improve Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing, meter data management, CRM, and AI-driven communications
- Contribute to innovative energy industry solutions that promote sustainability and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in a similar senior software development role with a strong focus on energy management or related fields.
- Extensive experience in software development, including designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems, preferably in energy or utility sectors.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages relevant to energy management platforms, such as Python, Java, or similar.
- Experience with building and working on AI-driven platforms and integrating AI technologies into software solutions.
- Solid understanding of Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing systems, meter data management, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Experience in developing or working with AI-driven communications systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team including product managers, data scientists, and other engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Willingness to work in an environment that may require physical demands typical of software engineering roles, such as prolonged sitting and computer use.
